Hello to my Stamping Friends!! Can you believe it is September 1st already??? I can, because the FABULOUS Holiday Mini is HERE!!!! If you aren't on my mailing list please let me know so I can get you a copy of this wonderful mini catalog. It has 40 pages of NEW items and they are GREAT!!! Can you tell I am excited? :)
A fellow demonstrator, Lisa Freeman, held a Holiday Mini Swap. I had to make 15 cards and another 14 demonstrators had to make 15 cards and we all swaped our cards with each other. It is a wonderful way to get some new great ideas! I wanted to share the card I made with all of you.
The soft suede piece is textured using the NEW Impressions Folder Petals-A-Plenty. It of course is used with the Big Shot and just right for the holidays! I sponged around it a little bit using Soft Suede Ink. The ornaments are made using the NEW Delightful Decorations stamp set along with the NEW Ornament Punch. The red ornament has the snowflake punched out and layered. It is hard to tell in the picture but it also has the NEW Shimmer Paint to create a little sparkle. This Shimmer Paint is fabulous! It comes in Champagne Mist, Frost White and Platinum and goes on with just a sponge dauber. It is acid free and is perfect for porous surfaces like paper, fabric and wood.
The designer series paper behind the ornaments is also from the Holiday Mini. It is our new Speciality Designer Series Paper Christmas Cocoa Specialty and it is yummy. Some of the pieces have raised images that feel fuzzy and like felt...so cool!! The top of the card uses the Kraft Taffeta Ribbon. The Season's Greetings come from the stamp set called Snow Swirled which is in the regular catalog.
It is a few months before Christmas but is never too early to start your Christmas cards! Enjoy your day!
