I'm in Colorado visiting my new nephew, Jackson for the first time. He is just over 2 weeks old and I am LOVING every minute of it. He is SO precious and SO good! Congrats to Amy and John.
I want to share with you his announcement I originally designed as a shower invite but then I showed them to Amy and she wanted to use them as the announcement instead. I do like to spoil her too :) His room is decorated in elephants and is brown and blue. These fit perfectly for his room theme.
Then when you open it...

Amy spent the last 3 months making 70 of these. There is A LOT of detail. I think they turned out great. I knew I wanted something unique for Amy and I think it was accomplished...at least I hope :)
I've had a lot of time with Jackson in just these 2 days and I still have 3 more full days with him. We were able to get a picture together today. Of course he didn't want to look at the camera.
We even got one of him yawning...
And yesterday he was smiling frequently and we were able to catch the smile...and he was smiling at me!!
I know he is going to grow so quickly but I am cherishing the time I have with him now. I will be back in April with Aaron and the kids. They are SO excited to see their cousin.

I love the announcements. I was thinking to myself how much work that must've been then saw that your sister worked on them for 3 mo! At least it helped her pass the time waiting for Jackson. He's a cutie!
