The first thing I need to share with you is on Friday night I became an Aunt!!!!!! My sister who lives in Colorado had a baby boy, Jackson Dean!!! He is just adorable! I hate being this far but I will be traveling there in less than two weeks to visit them. He was 7lbs 14oz and 19 inches and 11 days early! He would have been a BIG boy!! Mom, Dad and baby are doing well and being spoiled by my parents who flew out the next day. I'll be posting a picture soon. Congratulations to Amy & John!
The second thing I want to share with you is my excitement I've had since yesterday! Shelli Gardner, CEO/Co-Founder of Stampin' Up! has a blog. Each month she posts a challenge and those who want to submit their creations can. In January her challenge was Happy Heart geared towards Valentines Day. I submitted my Love Scrap Layout from my January 31st post and 190 other people submitted their projects. The good news...
I WON her challenge!!! She chose 10 projects she like and mine was one of them!!! I am SO excited. I've been on cloud 9 ever since yesterday morning when I received the email. My reward for winning is any FREE stamp set out of the current catalogs! But really I am more excited that Shelli Gardner was actually on my blog and chose my project! Be sure to checkout my previous post for the layout.
Now on to projects, I want to share with you some of the treats I made for a class. I really enjoy coming up with fun ways to decorate treats. I centered this class around the "A Happy Heart" stamp set. They received the stamp set when they attended the class.
These are my favorite to make and so many people WOW over them when you pull the item out. I made a lot of these during Christmas too for craft fairs with gum. So quick to make.
This one has gum inside, another fun way to give gum as a gift.
This is a box we were taught how to make at the Phoenix Regional Seminar in January. I filled these with Hershey Kisses. I like that you can fold it flat and send it in the mail.
This last project uses the Mini Milk Carton Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Fancy Favor Box Die in the Idea Book. I saw this idea at Leadership on how to cut down the Fancy Favor Box to use as a holder for the milk cartons.
Thanks for taking the time to share my excitement and viewing my projects. I hope you enjoyed them.
Happy Stamping!
