Valentine Card

Since Valentine's Day is two weeks from tomorrow, I thought I should post a Valentine's Day card I made.  It uses the new set from the Occasions Mini "XOXO", the greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and the glittery heart is from the new and yummy Red Glimmer Paper in the Occasions Mini and cut out with the Hearts & Brackets Die. This Glimmer Paper has been a favorite lately for Valentine cards!

I really like all the texture this card has and of course these colors just warm my heart!  The Crumb Cake hearts in the background are punched from the Heart to Heart punch and then randomly adhered to the card with adhesive.  I really like the Bitty Buttons again too.  I love how you can make the clear little button into whatever color you want! 

I'll have another Valentine project to share with you this week.  I created it for a great workshop I had last week!

Calendar Fun

I just love making desktop calendars this time of year.  Anyone can use a calendar for their desk and I think these are just adorable.  Every year during the holidays I make calendars for the local craft fairs.  This year I took the easel card and made it into a calendar using a coaster.  These first two designs are the ones I made for the craft fair...yes, I sold out of them at both craft fairs!

This is the last roomie gift I gave Max at Leadership. I just love this Presto Patterns Specialty Paper, you can make it what ever color you want with a sponge or sponge dauber!

Roomie Pillow Gifts & Friends

This was Max's first time with a roommate during Leadership so I wanted to spoil her and give her some special pillow gifts.  I loved seeing her face every morning when she found them on her pillow after her shower. 

This is a Clear-Mount Stamp Case decorated for Max.  I LOVE this Springtime Vintage paper and I am really into the Baja Breeze lately!!  You can purchase the cases for $4.95 and there are 4 in a pack!  A great deal!  Inside were three cards for Max to enjoy...

The stamp set used is A Word For You.  This is such a great set to use on cards...I love the whimsical font!  These cases with cards inside make such nice gifts.  I think I will use these decorated cases for some birthday's coming up.

Friday night was the last night of Leadership but two of my friends and I stayed an extra day.  It was great to relax with pedicures and enjoy the Gaylord Opryland Hotel...it is just a fabulous place!  Here is one of the waterfalls in the Cascade Area where we stayed of the three of us, Cathy, Kimberly and I.  I just love this picture!  We had such a great day!

Leadership Friends!

One of the things I like most about attending Stampin' Up! events is seeing all of my friends from all around the country.  I would not have meet these friends if it wasn't for Stampin' Up! and I am SO grateful for having them in my life.  I didn't get pictures with all of my friends but I did get a few I will share with you. 

This is my wonderful roommate, Max.  She is also my SAM with Stampin' Up! and I just love her to pieces!  We had a great time and she came to Leadership as a demonstrator and not a employee of SU! and it was fun but boy does she know a lot of people and it helped me make more friends!! 

She usually doesn't get to have a roommate and so I spoiled her with roomie gifts each morning!  I was happy to do this and LOVED seeing the smile on her face when she saw them!  Here is one of the gifts...

 

Here is the back...I just love these color!  The blue DSP is from the new Springtime Vintage from the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog and I LOVE IT!!!

Last night we had dinner at a fabulous steakhouse here at the Opryland Hotel called Old Hickory Steakhouse and it was yummy!  There was a group of 9 of us and we laughed all night!

I will have more to share later.  I am still in Nashville with two friends, Cathy and Kimberly, for a relaxing day.  Leadership ended late last night and I am looking forward enjoying Nashville today!

Leadership Fun!

I am in Nashville, TN for Stampin' Up!'s annual Leadership Conference having a great time with friends.  SU! always puts on such a great Leadership program and I am honored to be here!  We've been pretty busy so this will be a quick post as we need to leave the room as Main Stage will be beginning soon!

This is the swap card I made for this year's Leadership. 

I just LOVE these colors...Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla!  Yummy!

This is just a sneak peek.  Gotta leave the room for Main Stage to start.  Oh, we are at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and it is AMAZING!!!  I'll try to take some pics and I also need to take a pic of my roommate and me too!

A Feel Good Card

This time of year comes with all sorts of colds and sicknesses.  We had it through the two week Christmas Break and I am happy to say...we are better and hope it stays away for the remainder of the season!  I've seen this idea using a Hot Chocolate packet but I am a HUGE soup person and I thought this idea would be perfect for someone under the weather.  We made this at last week's Library Stamp Class in Pentwater with some fabulous ladies!

This is actually a Medium Crumb Cake Envelope.  It is sealed and then one of the sides of the envelope is cut off 1 1/4".  The main envelope is then ran through the Crimper which squishes it enough to make the top of the envelope work as a lid.

I used Soft Suede ink to stamp the tree from the set Thoughts and Prayers.  The Get Well Soon greeting is also from this set.  I decorated the lid of the envelope using Baja Breeze and Soft Suede cardstock and topped off with Very Vanilla 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.  This pouch fits a instant Hot Chocolate packet or this Lipton Cup-A-Soup which will make anybody's day.

I am busy finishing up some last minute things for Leadership this upcoming week.  I always look forward to Stampin' Up! events and I am excited to be going to Nashville to attend this conference to see friends and learn new things to help lead my team of fabulous stampers!
