Mini Hostess Set

Each Mini Catalog has two additional hostess sets to choose from.  The current Summer Mini Catalog has this nice flower Level 2 set, Love & Care.  I didn't like it as much in the catalog until I inked it up and came up with this card for Bunco.

These colors are my most favorite.  They are Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Pear Pizzazz.  I really love this layout and I hope you like it too!

Stampin' Bunco Project & Gift

Last Friday I had a Stampin' Bunco night with some fun ladies.  We always have a great time and this time was no different.  We play a round of Bunco and then stamp a card.  Then play another round of Bunco then stamp another card.  One more round of Bunco and then prize time!  This was the first card we stamped. 

This little scooter is in the set "On the Grow" in the Summer Mini Catalog and is stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink.  It is such a cute set and fun to play with.  I just love the Daffodil Delight with Basic Black and the Newsprint Designer Series Paper as an accent. 

I wanted to share with you a gift a stamping friend gave me during our cruise.  It was thoughtful of Christy to do this and I actually did use it!  Thank you Christy, I love it!!

This Open Sea Set is from Summer Mini Catalog and is a wonderful set especially for masculine projects.  It is available only until August 31 as it isn't in the new catalog coming out on July 1st :(  This little book is our 5x5 Art Journal and great for decorating!

I'm still here!

Wow!  What a busy few weeks we've had.  We returned from Alaska and 4 days later my 5 year old son had his tonsils and adenoids out.  Everything went great and he actually did really good.  A good 3-4 days of relaxing and lots of napping.  He was SO cuddly during this time and I sure did cherish every moment! 

During those days, my sister and her family were here to visit from Colorado for a week.  It sure went by too quick but it was nice to see them.  The kids enjoyed playing with their 1 year old cousin and didn't want him to leave.  During this past weekend we all traveled to Wisconsin for my Grandfather's 90th birthday party with extended family.  It was a nice visit but we had to say goodbye to Amy and family in Wisconsin which was a quick and different than usual. 

I did have a Stamped Charm Class using the Simply Adorned line while my sister was here and she did attend the class.  Unfortunately it was the only stamping we did.  I decided it was time to share the charms and inserts with you.

This picture is a little dark, I was getting a glare from the lights.  Here are close ups of the inserts.

I just love the texture on this insert.  I embossed with clear embossing powder on the Early Espresso.  I also love the look the linen thread gives to this insert.

This insert I saw on the Alaskan Cruise.  Georgia Giguere had this attached to a necklace and I just loved the look.  It is a window sheet with the image stamped with White Stazon.  This way you can wear this insert with any color of outfit.  I am so excited for this insert!

I loved the insert we made at Leadership this past January.  I used a few different items since the Cleary for You stamp set that has the cute little birds is not available now.  I am still happy with the end result.  I stamped the bird in Basic Black ink and then painted the bird using Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.  I love the vintage feel of this insert!

I will have a few more projects to show you after this weekend.  I have two events this weekend and then I will post the projects we made.
