As soon as I knew the "This and That" kit was coming out, I knew I wanted to take a kit on our Spring Break vacation. I actually took three kits, one for Lauren, me and my mother-in-law. Lauren and I have been very good at working on our pages during the day when it is just WAY TO HOT to be outside! We are in Grand Cayman on vacation and it gets SUPER hot between 12 and 2pm, so it is a great time to come in and journal our previous days events in our This and That journals. We both LOVE it!
I basically only brought the items that come in the bundle besides adhesive, scissors and come coordinating ribbon just in case. So we are a little limited in card stock and punches but I think it is coming together fine with what we have.
We haven't take the time to decorate the front of the journal as we just dove right into the first day. We also want to decorate the first page a little bit about Grand Cayman, we just want to pick up some different brochures first.
Here is part of the first day (Saturday)...
Then here is more of when we arrived at our destination!
I will share what Lauren did on her pages this week as well...just had time to take these pictures before we ran out of the house for dinner. She has used my pages as her inspiration, with her own twist :)
This previous post has all the images and links to the This and That kit for you to look at. I am super excited about this kit and I can't wait to work with it more as more events or moments take place. Lauren is just about 10 years old and it is really easy for her to work with too!
I hope you enjoy seeing part of our vacation in action using our This and That kit. Stay tuned this week for more pages!
