This bag idea was shared by Laura Milligan on stage at Stampin' Up!'s Convention in July. However, she sews and I do not so I made this draw string bag using Sticky Strip! See it really is female duct tape!!! I made the bag so it would fit our Note Cards and Envelopes and still be able to pull the bag closed while they were in there.
I love the Comfort Cafe Fabric! Some of my favorite colors! I used one of the new Sticky Rounds in the Holiday Catalog to help me make the fabric round circle. I made this circle look like a flower with the button in the middle and the ribbon out the edge. In this flower I really kept the fabric pulled tight while I wrapped it around in a circle. The loose ones look great too!
The cards I wanted to be simple! I used my friend's, Shalae Brown's, idea of simple cards and just added a little more stamping and changed the colors.
The DSP on the cards is Comfort Cafe and the background stamp is from Creative Elements stamp set and the greeting is from the Made for You stamp set.
I had my team Diva's for a gathering last month and they each made one of these sets. I reward my top demos and demos who have promoted the last quarter for a Diva night of stamping! We made a few other items too! I enjoy celebrating their successes!
I hope you've enjoyed this idea from a non-sewer! It is amazing what Sticky Strip can do!
Thanks for stopping by!
