I've been a little quiet this weekend as I have been a busy gal getting ready for my BIG Team Gathering I held for my stamping team this past weekend. I had 18 fabulous ladies attend this event on Saturday along with my good friend and fellow demonstrator, Ronda Wade as our guest speaker! Ronda is an amazing friend and speaker and it was SO good for my demonstrators to hear from someone else besides me all the time! Here is Ronda and I...
And here is a picture I took during the meeting! Just loved having Ronda there with us!
After the team gathering I held a special event with my DIVA's for the quarter. These Diva's earned this title by promoting to another title from December - April. Nine of my team members made this Diva Title and we were also blessed to have Ronda join us for it as well. I hope to get a picture of the Diva's to share with you soon!
During the Diva event we stamped for almost 3 hours some special projects and this is one of the projects we made!
This is a card holder that holds our Note Card and Envelopes (107311) and it is made with just one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" piece of card stock! It's such a great little gift!
There are a couple of sneak peeks on this holder as I wanted to use some new products for my Diva's. The Primrose Petals card stock (126841) is embossed using the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder (129984) which will be available to order staring May 31st with that item number! The piece of Summer Starfruit card stock (126839) is stamped using the coordinating stamp, Mosiac Madness stamp set (130249) which is also new and will be available to order on May 31st. The layered butterflies are cut out using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die (114507) which is available now HERE at my online store. The Primrose Butterfly is also stamped using the new Mosiac Madness stamp set and topped with a In Color Dahlias (127556). It's tied closed with the Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126846) which is also available now!
Here is the holder opened.
I have just two cards and envelopes inside but as long as you keep the card design flat like I did, I think you could probably do at least 4 or so!
I cut out a small butterfly from the Beautiful Butterfly Bigz Die (114507) and used it as a stencil to create the Primrose butterfly on the card. I used Primrose Petal Classic Ink (126858) and a Stamping Sponge (101610). The Summer Starfruit image is also from the Mosiac Madness stamp set (130249) and the Thank You greeting is actually from an upcoming Hostess Set, Postage Collection (12924) which you can earn starting on May 31st...be sure to add it to your wish list! I just LOVE it!!!
Here are the dimensions for the card holder itself...you will also see it made without any adhesive too!
Cut your card stock 8 1/2 x 9 1/2"
Along the 8 1/2" side, score at 2 1/2"
Along the 9 1/2" side, score at 4 3/4"
Then fold along the score lines and decorate it to your desire! Yes, it's that easy!!!
