I found a similar idea to this card on Pinterest and remade it using ALL Stampin' Up! product and I am SUPER happy with the way it turned out! The one on Pinterest was not a gift card holder but I changed this one to hold a gift card. Lauren would LOVE it especially since it has a Justice gift card on it!!! (Actually it is her card...but don't tell her! LOL!)
(Sorry the following pictures are yellowish...I just can't seem to get a light card like this to take a good picture!)
I am SUPER sad one of my favorite dies is on the Retired Accessories List! Yes, the Scalloped Envelope Die (113462) is retiring but I am keeping mine! I've love the things I've made with it and I just can't part with it! You'll see a close up of it below but the chevron designer series paper on this card is actually the Scallop Envelope Die standing up the tall way for the gift card to fit in.
I LOVE using our This and That items for more things than just our Memory Journal Kit. Although I do love that too! So the Washi Tape is from the Epic Day This and That Washi Tape (131269) and the Scallop Envelope Die (113462) is cut out using the This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper (130814). The "8" is a sticker from the Epic Day This and That Designer Stickers (131271) and I layered it on to a piece of Crumb Cake card stock (120953) which was punched out using the Postage Stamp Punch (122344). The Tea Lace Doily (129399) is cut in half for a fun addition to the card.
I also took a Gumball Green Stampin' Write Marker (126856) and placed into our Color Spritzer Tool (107066) to get the splatters on the left side of the card. Now this is a tool you CAN"T live without and it is on the retired list so only available through June 3rd so you better click HERE to order it today! PLUS it is on sale for $9.71 which is a 25% savings! It really is the best tool and I won't be parting with mine either!!
The "Happy Birthday" greeting is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (129156) which is currently in our Spring Catalog and only available through May 30th. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) are always a great addition to any card especially a girly card!
I really hope you like this card as much as I do. I think I may make a few to have on hand with other ages on them! You never know when your child will be invited to a birthday party!
I'd love to hear what you think so please leave a comment below! This way I know I am not talking to myself on here! LOL!
I hope you have a super Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!
