** I posted a card late last night using the NEW Photopolymer stamp set we are offering...be sure to scroll down and check it out!
I have fallen in love with this ombre effect technique I used on this card. It is everywhere on the internet from hair to clothing to now cards! I learned how to do this technique at the how to booth at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference in January and I wanted to share it with you.
I used our Glossy White card stock (102599) and Delicate Details Lace Tape (130966) along with ink to create this background look. It really is easier than you think and I show you how on the this video.
I finished embellishing the card with our Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399) which I can't get enough of. The scallop circle is actually a doily from out Delicate Doilies Sizzlit Die (126999) and it is layered with our 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850) which is lightly stamped with the Delicate Doilies stamp set (122592). The Crumb Cake (120953) 1" Circle (119868) is stamped with the Collage Curios stamp set (129102) and topped off with a Vintage Faceted Designer Button (127555), which you can get FREE with a $50 order, and Linen Thread (104199).
The banner is stamped in Crumb Cake ink (126975) using the stamp set from the "Welcome Kit" from My Paper Pumpkin...yes, I really can not get enough of this set and I can't live without it! I covered the word "friend" with "thanks" from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set (120501) with Baja Breeze card stock (111352).
The bottom stitching is actually using our Needlepoint Border Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129383) which I just can't get enough of either!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy this fun technique! Please "Pin It' using the button on the bottom of this post if you like it...I appreciate you sharing with others!
