Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all!  I want to share with you my Christmas card for this year.  I always LOVE to incorporate something with my kid's picture for my cards.  This year, my 40 cards were completed in ONE day thanks to my sister and mom for helping!  I just LOVE the Medallion and the Christmas Collage background stamps and each one you could punch out a circle and add a picture.  I made a similar card for a Stamp-A-Stack where we put a greeting in the picture hole and just loved it. 

I changed the colors just a little and did a pull out for the kid's picture for those who like to keep the picture.  Those who I thought maybe wouldn't know to pull the tab, I wrote pull on the tab.  Didn't want those pictures to go to waste.

I used Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  I LOVE the " Merry Christmas" stamp from Bells and Boughs in the Holiday Mini and my card took off from there. 

Our holiday gatherings today and then have a smaller gathering on Christmas Day at our house.  This will be the first year we haven't left our house on Christmas Day.  Even though it will feel different I know the kids will enjoy staying home and playing with their Christmas gifts!

Medallion Snowflake

When I attended the Cincinnati Regional Seminar in September there were many card samples on the display boards.  Most of these samples were made by those demonstrators attending so I was unable to get the name of the demonstrator who did this card.  I fell in love with it and knew I needed to make one.  I did a workshop in November and the guests made this card along with my club members in December...I told you I love this card!

The Medallion is stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink on to Kraft Cardstock.  The Scallop Circle punch is made with the Bella Bleu DSP...boy do I love this paper!  It is so beautiful.  The snowflake from the hostess set "Christmas Punch" is punched out with the 1" Circle Punch and then dotted with Crystal Effects.  The "Merry Christmas" is from the set Christmas Greetings Here is a close up...

Well after tomorrow night I will be busy with the rest of my Christmas items.  I have lots to do yet and I can't wait to share some of the projects with you when I am finished with them.

Medallion Club Card

This is one of the cards my ladies made for club this past week.  It uses the wonderful new background stamp Medallion.  I received the inspiration for this card from Sandi MacIver but changed it up.  I've REALLY tired to like and use Cameo Coral more but I just...can't.  So I used my yummy favorites, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. 

 

I stamped the Medallion three times, twice with Soft Suede and one with Bermuda Bay.  I used the 1-3/4" and 3/4" circle punches for the Soft Suede layering.  The "Wishes" is from Fundamental Phrases and is punched out using the Modern Label punch.  I sponged and used a Clear Rhinestone Brad for the center.  This card is 5x5 in size.
